The Walker Elementary School in Atlanta Georgia asked Valle Creative to provide T shirts for their students as they were honored to host living legend, Billy Mills. During the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, Billy Mills became the first American (and still the only) to win a gold medal in the 10,000-meter race. He is a Lakota (Native American) man who draws on the resilience and teachings of his ancestors. Despite adversity, Mr. Mills was able to persevere and become an Olympic gold medalist. Mr. Mills spoke to the Walker community about the importance of determination, global unity and what it means to pursue excellence.
